Mini Links > other languages
You've gotta be kidding me, right? :) There are "GAZILLION" stores that sell miniatures or other things but that can be used in miniatures: crafts, scrapbooking, needlework, finings, etc, in other languages! There are practically as many online as brick-and-mortar stores (if not more) in countries with more tradition in miniature hobby than us (Brasil)...
There are WAY more stores than listed here. It's beyond scope to list ALL of them, but I'll add the ones I hear good things about or the ones I have already tried to buy from and liked the experience.
Most are in English. The flag stands for the language, NOT the country:
=German,
=Danish,
=Spanish,
=French,
=Dutch,
=Italian,
=Japanese.
IMPORTANT: Buying from stores abroad means having to pay an import TAX (usually of 60% or higher) on the SUM of the total purchased PLUS shipping rate, no matter how much the purchased total is (no minimum or maximum). That if our Customs doesn't decide to make up their own total... The only items that CANNOT be charged - this is granted by our Constitution - are BOOKS, MAGAZINES or NEWSPAPERS. Keep in mind that CDs and DVDs, even when they have the same content of a book, magazine or Newspaper, will be hold and fully charged.
If you have a store abroad and sell to someone in Brazil: please, make our lives a little easier and ship items WITH A TRACKING NUMBER. Without that it's impossible to locate or claim any item. No need to send insured parcels - if not asked - just the tracking number will go a long way!
STORES LIST:
Here I listed links to stores related to miniatures, other countries (not Brazil). I've bought from some of them, but not from all of them... (I wish!) :)
If you know of a store in countires other than Brazil related to miniatures, please, let me know.

Notions such as doll sized zippers, doll buttons, doll buckles, Dritz snaps and hooks-n-eyes, thin Velcro, charms, doll jewelry findings, 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8" eyelets, and custom doll sewing patterns in vintage styles for fashion dolls. These supplies work great for doll scale sewing, as well as scrapbooking and paper crafts. |
