Here you find LINKS to blogs, photo albums, and Instagram profiles of Brazilian miniaturists (or that are written in Portuguese).
For several years the "blosphere" was the place of choice for most miniature enthusiasts to show their work to the world. We followed each other, like a big community. We would also gather at online discussion groups on Yahoo (defunct). Few of them adjusted to groups at other social networks. Things have changed on the internet and most blogs were removed. Some did keep their posts, but others removed all posts even if the blog itself remained. Several migrated to Instagram.
Some dear friends and talented miniaturists departed from this world, and their absence is deeply felt. Both Regina and Anna Helena of Minifiore. Órson, of Pépp & Orson partnership. Many, myself included, devoted more time to other crafts that are more commercially viable in Brazil, or to their non craft related jobs. After all, we all have bills to pay. Some moved to other countries, and still shine with their work with dollhouse miniatures, like Betinha Murta and Ivani Grande. There are also those who left miniatures aside while taking care of family and or health issues. Myself included. In 10 years since last time I updated this website many things have changed. But new blood has been emerging, and very talented people are here to stay!
So this is actually a page with updated links to miniature crafters in Brazil. I only kept the title of the page (blogs & photologs) to make it easier for those who have been with DHB for all these years to keep finding the contents whenever they need to..
