Here are links to online stores that sell miniatures
or tools/supplies to make miniatures IN Brazil.
Important Note on shopping abroad x domestic shopping:
It's very hard for us to buy from stores abroad. Shipping costs can be 2 or far more times the cost of the order itself. Customs taxes are insane, customs agents aren't particularly careful in handling neither fast in processing our parcels. Orders frequently 'disappear' between customs and delivery and neither our Customs nor Postal Sytems even try to be helpful when we try to locate them. Stores abroad usually don't send our orders with tracking numbers. If worst comes to worst and we never get them. Even worse, there are no institutions or international laws to protect our consumer rights as we do when shopping in Brazil. I hope more entrepreneurs will see that as an opportunity to broaden their product lines and include miniature stuff or even to open more miniature related stores in the country.
If you know of any online miniature store that sells tools/supplies IN Brazil, please, let me know.

Important!
Before you rush out and spend thousands shopping for tools and supplies, remember that to be a miniaturist what really matters is to develop an 'eye' for miniatures. Anything can potentially become something else in miniature. Check these pictures for example: American miniaturist Tanya, 'saw' two erasers and a couple of toy bugs from a Dollar tree store as beatuy parlor chairs, one for a hair drying (one of the 'bugs') and the other for shampooing (the other 'bug')... Creativity is the key to success!!

As speciallized stores are scarce in Brazil, we have no other choice than to use our creativity. I promise: it doesn't hurt! ;)
